4 More Apps & My Free Social Media Management Setup

I've already shared five of my beloved productivity apps, and today I want to share four more. Having an arrangement of digital helpers on your phone, computer, or both can help you excel. I'm sure you already have several apps that you love and here are a few more of mine.

Bright To-Do

In my previous post on the topic, I talked about Wunderlist and the simplistic efficacy it provides. I have since found a new app that I've been wanting to try out. Bright To-Do is different than Wunderlist. Bright To-Do has a calendar, a section for daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly habits, several view styles, and categories to use for color-coding. It syncs and uses the planner that comes with your phone because it doesn't have an option to set a time for the tasks. I like the layout of this app. Still, it doesn't allow users to make folders. For the sake of giving it a solid try, I went around that by creating a task called Inbox. I use its note section to write down random tasks and reminders. I never check off Inbox and it carries into the next day as an unfinished task. It's my makeshift folder. I'm hoping the next update will bring some new exciting features. I'll be trying more such apps one by one so this category will be featuring various apps until I found one that gives me everything I want while being free to use.

Pocket

I've known about this app for a long time but it was never in the center of my attention until the start of the year. It's not an absolute necessity for me. Learning is pivotal to me and Pocket makes that easier than ever. I no longer need bookmarks I forget about or dozens of open tabs on my phone's browser. I can organize saved pages by labels and read offline. I'm in love with Pocket! I cannot stress this enough - you need this app!

IFTTT (If This Than That)

PIN FOR LATER
Another tool I've know about for very long but never tried. Now that I have, I love it! It saves me so much time and streamlines my social media presence seamlessly between platforms. I'm still exploring the endless possibilities of the app because it is robust. IFTTT allows you to have two or more of your accounts interact with each other based on using the applet you set up. There are thousands of applets on IFTTT to choose from. I use it in conjunction with my Google Calendar to create my automated Pinterest schedule. I also use it to cross-post on several of my social media accounts instead of doing everything manually. You can take it beyond social media, of course. Endless possibilities! I highly recommend you try out IFTTT to make your life easier.

Hootsuite

I avoid using social media aimlessly as much as I can. I limit myself to one hour of Instagram a day on both my makeup and photography accounts, and I limit my Twitter usage to one sign in a day just to retweet previous tweets of mine instead of posting my blog posts all over again. For everything else, I use the phone app of Hootsuite. I've set up streams and tabs to answer comments and check engagement. That prevents me from browsing around aimlessly and wasting my time scrolling. IFTTT, Google Calendar, and Hootsuite comprise my entire social media management setup. It's simple and easy to use and it's all free which is a huge plus.

Over the years of looking for the right apps for me, I always tried to get myself into paper planners, bullet journaling, and everything paper. Now that I got this round-up going, I couldn't be more satisfied. I'd love to hear about what tools you love to use- paper, digital, both? Are you using any of these apps or would you like to tell about others? Share in the comments below! Also, if you enjoyed this post, consider subscribing to my newsletter for more!

11 Tiny Habits that will Significantly Improve your Physical and Mental Wellbeing

For almost every person the first step towards improving in any aspect of life entails setting big goals- they say they're gonna start working out more, start eating healthier, start this and that more... Firstly, I call those ''intentions'' not "goals". Secondly, that is probably why so many people don't succeed. They believe the vague sentiments are their goals and those are some pretty daunting goals because instead of getting from point A to B, these "goals" assume going through the whole alphabet and beyond. This is why I call them intentions instead of goals. Tiny Habits to Improve Physical Health 1. Warm Lemon Water Pouring warm water in a cup and squeezing a little bit of lemon juice in it takes a minute to do in the morning before doing anything else. Drinking this on an empty stomach gives you a boost of Vitamin C, providing you with more energy during the day and promoting better gut health. Tip: make sure the water

Four Straightforward Steps to Beating your Writer's Blocks

Creator's block. The imminent foe of any creative soul. Today we'll be discussing creator's block in writers- writer's block. We all know how that feels. You sit down to write one day, maybe out of habit or maybe out of drive. You're about to start and you churn out a few sentences, maybe you delete them and start again, maybe you persevere forward. Something isn't quite right, however, and you trail off, your fingers are hovering, unsure, growing slower until they still above the keyboard. The text cursor is blinking back at you, waiting for a command. Soon it starts feeling more like mockery than servitude and that completes a rather underwhelming writing session. The way I get over my writing blocks is simple but effective. I devised a four-step plan that is concise and straightforward. I like skipping over avoiding the problem and get to solving it instead. I don't want to allow my creative blocks to last long if I can help it. Perhaps, this is the right
